In a modern era where meat consumption is rising and fish consumption is declining, we aim to preserve the traditional Japanese practice of grilling fish in a way that fits contemporary dining styles. Uokushi was born from this idea, featuring whole fish cut into bite-sized pieces and grilled on skewers like yakitori. All seafood is fresh and sourced directly from Japanese markets, expertly grilled by our chef. We offer simple salt-grilled options as well as homemade Saikyo miso pickles.
